New reports have come in from Chicago about a "Flesh Eating" known as "Krokodil". The drug was prominent in Russia, which can be seen in the name. It is new in the United States, and not everyone is equipped or know how to treat it. Symptoms include extensive tissue damage, causing rotting flesh, green scaly sores developing, which is what gives the drug its name, and a smell similar to that of rotting flesh. Doctors in Arizona saw two cases of what seem to be Krokodil abuse, causing emergency and worry among the country. Victims and abusers of the extremely dangerous drugs have to get amputations, resulting in loss of entire limbs. Three patients were treated in Chicago, making others worry that more are on the way. The drug gives a high similar to that of heroin, but much cheaper, and much more devastating. One of the reasons why the drug is becoming so big is due to how cheap it is, and what is needed to make it, some ingredients being lighter fluid, and gasoline. Druggs are becoming a major problem throughout the world, and new, more potent, more dangerous drugs are being introduced. With things like flesh eating drugs being willingly used, many can wonder when people will draw the line of what is to dangerous to use.
