"Chinese officials produce a lot of badly forged photos, but this might be the worst"

Throughout the years, governments of countries have lied and deceived their citizens, along with other countries. Examples are false promises, untrue claims, and corrupt actions. As far as whether a country has released a forget photo, the photos have most probably had a good amount of work put into them. This is not the case for China. China is a country that has many problems, going from pollution, to population problems. Their government officials have reached such a desperate situation, that they must release forged photos, which are almost near quality to work done by a kindergartner. Photos show government officials walking through roads and talking with villagers, or more likely try to show these images. The result of the photoshops shows people floating over roads, speaking to people who seem to be six inches tall, or seem to be walking in an area that does not match the way they look. People have no shadows in sunny areas, are blurry in clear and focused backgrounds, or are seem to have all the light from the sun on them, and none on the environment. For a country to go to lengths of forgery and photoshop, one would believe a above average job would be done, not the half finished products that half finished products that have constantly been published. Why must a country lie to its citizens and neighbors? If a power such as China is going to attempt to forge pictures, the pictures must look at least half believable.
I find this extremely amusing. I thought Asians were smart...? Sorry, racism not intended, just a thought. Besides a couple of commas and typos, the post was well-written and clear. I especially liked Kevin's use of rhetorical questions. I think it is pathetic for the government to lie to its people. I'm sure that Chinese citizens were greatly offended by this action and I would be as well if I was in their shoes! Great job, Kevin, it was entertaining to read.
ReplyDeleteWith china being the most populated country in the world, I expected better from them. I personally would not mind other countries forging photos, as it is not my business, but if they are going to do such a thing they should at least do it right. Photoshop is not even that difficult to use.
ReplyDeleteHow can a nation which demands respect from the other countries, whose power was never questioned, be immature and unprofessional enough to lie to its own citizens? If they actually wanted to portray a government official speaking to villagers and countrymen, why did they not go and visit them instead? To say that I was surprised to hear such embarrassing news would be an understatement. Interesting article, bravo!
ReplyDeleteTalk about being desperate. Never have I heard about such a poorly done job by such a powerhouse in the world. Embarrassment is an understatement. Attempting to fail to lie to your own citizens leaves China in an awful situation, and what about the perspective the other countries will have about them. If the Chinese government is aiming to sneak around such a small dilemma, who knows what other secrets they may be lying about?
